The LoNo Club was founded by Dale and Kay Hemming-Taylor to seek out and deliver good quality, good tasting de-alcoholised and alcohol-free wines, non-alcoholic aperitifs and cocktails and other alternatives to alcoholic drinks.

Dale came from a proud military background reaching the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and Kay worked as a teacher. They drew on their combined skills when they embarked on this new mission.

In seven years, this pioneering quest established The LoNo Club as the UK's leading specialist in de-alcoholised and alcohol-free wines.

As the first of its kind in the UK, the LoNo Club brought the fantastic world of good wine to those who abstain from alcohol - by choice or due to circumstance. For those who wish to continue to enjoy the finer things in life, the LoNo Club fulfilled a need.

After devoting themselves for more than seven years to realise the ambition to offer real alternatives to wine lovers, Dale and Kay turned their thoughts to realising another ambition - to enjoy a happy retirement.

In May 2010, Dale and Kay handed over their 'baby' to the safe hands of husband and wife John Risby and Christine Humphreys who continue to build on the foundations laid by them.

The LoNo Club has been renamed LoNo Drinks Co. and continues in the pioneering tradition to bring new wines to the table of non-drinkers at home and in restaurants, hotels and pubs.

John and Christine are developing LoNo Drinks Co. to increase the range of products and services.

Since 2006, John and Christine have been in business in the alcohol-free sector and share the desire to make alternatives to alcohol widely available to those who seek better choice.
