Throughout the web site, and other documentation, the term ‘LoNo’ refers to all aspects concerning www.lono.co.uk, or LoNo Drinks Co.

The following is information about using the LoNo web site and the Terms and Conditions, including delivery. Any points can be clarified by e mail at questions@lono.co.uk
Terms and Conditions, including Delivery
Your statutory rights are not affected
Alcohol content terms Trading Standards Legislation defines the following alcohol content terms:
* Low alcohol containing less than 1.2% alcohol by volume
* De-alcoholised containing less than 0.5% alcohol by volume
* Alcohol-free containing less than 0.05% alcohol by volume
All LoNo wines and beers are less than 0.5% abv, and therefore are classed as de-alcoholised. Most other EU countries use 0.5% abv as their alcohol free limit, and so the UK is way out of kilter; ‘de-alcoholised’ is not a EU definition.
Delivery
* Delivery is to the UK Mainland only, apart from as below.
* We aim for delivery to be within 2 working days of an order placed through the Website by 5pm on Zero day. Telephoned orders will be next working day provided the order can be accepted by 10am the day before.
* Saturday deliveries to UK mainland addresses are possible.Please contact us on 0800 825 0035 for arrangements at extra cost
* Delivery to other countries is possible. Please email info@lono.co.uk for additional costs.
* Northern Ireland, and Isle of Man transit will incur a surcharge. Please call 0800 825 0035 or e mail info@lono.co.uk for details and costs.
* Scottish Isles and Isles of Scilly transit will incur a surcharge. Please call 0800 825 0035 or e mail info@lono.co.uk for details and costs.
* A fuel surcharge is not levied on any deliveries, but LoNo reserves the right to review this subject to circumstances beyond our control.
Mixed Cases: Wines completing mixed cases are subject to availability. LoNo reserves the right to substitute alternatives of equal or greater value where necessary.
Pricing: LoNo tries to ensure that all prices are current, but we reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.
Money back guarantee
If you aren't happy with our drinks, you are welcome to return any unused and unopened bottles within 14 days of delivery, and we will return your money for these bottles. Delivery charges are not refundable.
You will be responsible for returning the unused bottles to us safely. Feel free to re-use the packaging we sent with your order, but please make sure that the bottles are well fitted, and any unused space in the box is sympathetically filled to avoid breakages. We are not liable to return money for any bottles which are returned broken or which are not in a condition for re-sale (labels torn etc)
We can arrange for our courier to collect from you, and deduct the charges from your refund if you wish. Please feel free to e mail (info@lono.co.uk) us or call us (0800 825 0035) and we shall arrange everything for you.
Refusal LoNo reserves the right to refuse to serve anyone for whatever reason, particularly concerning suspicion of payment guarantee, security on the web, or fraud.
Taxes All prices shown on the LoNo web site include VAT. However, LoNo reserves the right to charge VAT at 17.5% on any special orders or services. All taxes applied by LoNo will be those of the UK.
Information LoNo tries hard to ensure that information throughout its web site and other LoNo material and publications is accurate. LoNo does not, however, warrant nor guarantee this information as we are subject to any changes that may be made by suppliers or any internal or outside agency.
Rights and Copyright All rights and copyright of this web site are reserved by LoNo. This includes any component in its design, structure, source code, software (including applets), that are owned or controlled by LoNo or associates.
Governing Law and Contracts
LoNo is intended to only serve products to residents of the UK. Enquiries from other domiciles are welcome and should be directed through questions@lono.co.uk.
A contract will not exist between the customer and LoNo for any sale or service concerning any product unless and until LoNo accepts their order by e mail or telephone. The acceptance will be said to be complete, and will also be said for all purposes to have been communicated to the customer, when lono sends a communication by e mail, or other means, whether or not that communication is said to have been received. All such contracts are to be interpreted in all respects in accordance with the laws of England, and the customer and LoNo will abide by the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Breakages
Orders are packed to exacting safety standards, and LoNo does its best to ensure that products arrive in an undamaged state. LoNo cannot ensure, however, a 100% safe delivery record, but we do undertake to replace any transit-damaged articles as soon as possible. Any such damage must be notified to the courier on delivery. After the courier has notified the damage to LoNo, we shall take the necessary replacement action.
LoNo will not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages, and associated aspects. Any liability connected with these Terms and Conditions will not exceed the price, discounted or otherwise, of the products contained in the customer’s order.
Privacy Policy
LoNo are committed to protecting your privacy. LoNo will only use the information that LoNo collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
LoNo collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
LoNo will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
LoNo will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.
The type of information LoNo will collect about you includes:
your name
address
phone number
email address
credit/debit card details
LoNo will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information LoNo hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that LoNo hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies LoNo will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which LoNo hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code.
LoNo may use technology to track the patterns of behavior of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
